46.7% of Mexican households are concerned about running out of food due to lack of money; and 12.7% of households ran out of food, at least once, due to lack of money or resources (INEGI, 2020).
64.1% of women with a fetal death in 2021 only received between 1 and 5 medical consultations (INEGI, 2021).
Mexico ranks 5th in obesity in the world: 21 million women with a 41% prevalence and 15 million men with a 31% prevalence. It is estimated that by 2023, 36.8% of the country will have obesity with an annual increase of 1.6% (World Obesity Federation, 2022).
